Hello World! I am a Registered Clinical Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Surrey, England. Certified as a RD by the UK Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and licensed as Clinical Dietitian by the Cyprus Registration Board for Food Scientists, Food Technologists and Dietitians. I am about to graduate with a distinction from the Master of Science program in Management at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), Nicosia. My dissertation is focused on Business and Dietetics.
Recently, I have been working as a Medical Coordinator at a fertility clinic as well as a Freelance Dietitian. While living on a beautiful island – Cyprus – for 2.5 years, I was carrying out my own research about Mediterranean diet, taking advantage of first-hand observations and experiences.
I actively participate in international dietetic conferences, e.g. 8th edition of ‘Nutrition Findings from Around the Globe’ organized by The Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association. At the age of 18, I completed an internship at the Clinical Nutrition and Risk Factor Modification Centre of St. Michael Hospital and University of Toronto in Canada. I have been especially interested in gastrointestinal problems and eating disorders in order to provide counseling and help people to alleviate symptoms and improve their quality of life with: Celiac, DH, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, IBD, GERD, short bowel syndrome, resection and idiopathic and functional diseases, pancreatitis, liver transplant, intolerances, anorexia nervosa, and bulimia.
My professional aspiration is to specialize in practical implications and applications of research and consult nutritional businesses.
